I’ve just come across some useful work-life balance tips from an Australian newspaper. They might help if you need to negotiatie with an employer or look at your priorities. I’ve been thinking about this quite alot as I’m currently working on the chapter of The Mumpreneur Guide about looking after your life. I’ve had some great contributions from juggling mumpreneurs including Nicola of Orga-nics who has a store in Rye that I’m keen to visit.
And Modern Media Mum has written a great article about working from home when you have kids around. I’ve been doing this for seven years now, and it is easier at some times than others. With 3 kids, I know now that there is little point taking on work in August. I’ve also built up contacts with a number of local teens who can ‘hold the baby’ when I need extra time.
How do you fit in work and family? Let me know your best advice.
And watch out for a Friday Giveaway this week that might help you with your work life balance.

Very useful article, with lots of great tips.
I especially liked the bit about using a timer, think I will implement that to help keep me on task!
