But if you are writing for a living you need to transfer some of your deep thinking to planning out your business. Few writers ask for funding to get their business started which means that few come up with a business plan, which is a shame. Make yourself write a business plan, whether you have to or not. It is a great way to ask yourself some hard questions about why you are going into business, and what the aims and objectives are for the business.
