“Women owned businesses are achieving despite the current economic climate”, was the key message of a leading women’s organisation, Women on Their Way Ltd last Friday at their Annual Awards event.
Former Apprentice and co-founder of Women on Their Way, Jo Cameron addressed the guests with her thoughts on how, by improving opportunities to connect with other women and being inspired to take the next steps they can secure business in these turbulent times. Presenting the awards, Co-founder Lisa Ibbotson added, “We have discovered the most amazing women, doing the most incredible things. Women do business in a different way to men and it makes them more nimble on their feet”.
