News: Seeking Women In Business/Home Business of the Year
The Startups Awards 2010 is now accepting entries. Organised by startups.co.uk, the UK’s most popular website for small businesses the awards are searching for the Women in Business and the Home Business of the Year. These prestigious awards, launched today, reward the most exciting new companies across the country.
The awards contain 16 categories, including: Green Business of the Year, Women in Business Award, Product of the Year, Best Use of Technology and Business Plan of the Year. This year, there are 5 brand new categories: Home Business of the Year, Mobile Business of the Year, Franchisee of the Year, Angle/VC Backed Business of the Year and Craft Business of the Year. Winners of each category will then compete to be named the Startups Business of the Year.
To be eligible to enter, the business must have been trading for less than three years and be privately owned.
