Why I’m voting for Family Vie
I started blogging a few years ago, and was there right from the start of ‘mummy blogging’ in the UK. This has allowed me to build up a gradual knowledge of the bloggers whose writing I love, those who always have something amusing to share, and those who can teach me something. I know which blog to go to for ‘where to go’ advice and hope people come to my own blog for advice on work. But sometimes I still feel overwhelmed by the volume of blog posts out there. I’m part of the British Mummy Bloggers ning group, and often go in there only to emerge sometime later dazed and overwhelmed by which blog to read next.
That’s why I think Family Vie is such a great idea. It means that you can point out great posts to others, vote for those you like, and read articles that others rate highly. It is going to give families a digest of the best of the blog posts, and bloggers the chance to reach new audiences.
So, next time you read something great on a blog, submit it to Family Vie. You’ll be helping spread great writing to a wider readership, and assisting families to find the blog posts that are just right for them.
