Lisa Talbot’s Style Tips: Country

10 September 2010 No Comment

Stylist Lisa Talbot is sharing her tips on turning seasonal trends into wearable outfits. This week it’s Country – This is going to be one of my favourites!

This trend is all about the outside life, think walks in the country kicking the leaves!  Get cosy. The colours in these collections will be the greens, browns and deep reds…..how gorgeous!

The fabrics are just gorgeous, leathers, tweeds, knitwear, and sheepskin.IT’S ALL ABOUT TEXTURE, MIX THEM UP!

The garments you will see this season will be great knit dresses and please add some faux fur, this can be in the form of a hat, scarf or gloves.  Faux Fur is huge this season and can add real softness to an outfit.

Investment pieces this season will be the chunky boot with walking socks over the top and an Aviator jacket, like everything wear this to suit YOU.

The ‘Must haves’ if you want to follow this trend;

  • Wool jumper
  • Wool hat
  • Faux gillet
  • Jodhpur style trousers
  • Wool dress
  • Wool scarf
  • Suede boots ( these can be used in the Simplicity trend too )
  • Aviator jacket
  • Hiking boots
  • Walking socks
  • Sheepskin

This tip is from Lisa Talbot, a Personal and Corporate stylist who specialises in helping mainly women and men with their style and image. She says, “I can help you get a better understanding of the colours and shapes that suit you, then apply that to your personality and lifestyle to help you develop a new wardrobe. One that you’ll love to wear every day. Being a mum of 3 (21 year old son and twins of 6) I can so relate to being a busy working mum and juggling my family. I know how important it is to have a wardrobe that works for you and one that you will find easy and one that you will have fun with.” Find out more about Award Winning Personal Stylist Lisa Talbot at www.lisatalbot.co.uk or join Lisa Talbot on Facebook
