One thing no one ever told me about breastfeeding was how messy it would be. I assumed my baby and I would sit there serenely. He would happily and discreetly guzzle away while I would perhaps use my free hand to read a book. Instead, I found myself pinned to the sofa, surrounded by pillows and naked from the waist up, while my son flailed about, kicking out and scratching me – and making embarrassingly loud slurping noises – and milk sprayed wildly from my other boob.
Things only improved when I got myself a proper feeding pillow. The Boppy pillow is “hug-shaped” to help you find the best position and we have one to give away. E-book launched for new mums who want to start a business

Helen Lindop has launched an e-book for new mums who want to start their own businesses. The book is called ‘Business Plus Baby: Ten things you need to know if you’re starting a business and have a baby’.
Many new mums expect to return to work after their maternity leave ends, but find their priorities change once their baby arrives. Faced with a choice of working full-time, taking a poorly-paid part time job or giving up work altogether, many are starting businesses instead. (more…)

Award Winning Amanda Moves into New Home Office
