Six mothers who have set up their own businesses will be rewarded for their efforts at a ceremony which aims to celebrate women from across the UK who balance being a mum with being an entrepreneur.
The Mumpreneur Conference and Awards is set to take place on October 3 and will be a kick start to the inaugural Business Mum Week taking place at the City Inn, Birmingham.

A young Midlands mum turned entrepreneur has shot to success having been shortlisted for a businesses award.
Mother-of-three Amanda Farren, aged 22, of Coventry, could gain national recognition after being nominated for the 2009 BT Home Business Award, for her online stationary business Ella Announcements.
Ms Farren, who launched the business two years ago, said the business was a deliberate distraction from her daily chores.
