Great news for you if you want to create a flexible lifestyle.
How was your half term? Did you end up spending lots of time with the family then wishing you didn’t have to return to work? Or was it a really stressful juggle? Do people understand what you do for a living?

When you commute to and from an office each day people understand you have a job. When you do this on a part-time basis or work from home occasionally people still have an idea what you do.

A work at home mum and half-term

If you’re work from home mum, how has the half-term gone for you this week? I’ve got three children and only the eldest is at school, however I’ve found it hard to get work done this week with all three of them around.

Working from home – how do you switch off?

I used to work in an office and had a long commute. By the time I got home in the evenings, work seemed far away and I didn’t have to worry about it until the next day. When things were busy or stressful it was hard to stop thinking about work sometimes, but I found a way to switch off from it all and relax when I was at home.
