6.  Suggest a trial period. If your organisation or boss isn’t feeling the vibe of flexible working, it’s up to you to demonstrate that you can make it work, rather than them saying it can’t. Jane Hopkins MBE, visited Buckingham Palace on Wednesday 14th March 2012 to collect her MBE for her commitment and dedication to provide support and advice for mums looking to start a business around their family.
Jane Hopkins, 37 from North Warwickshire created mumsclub in 2007 when her son was just 18 months old. She receives her MBE for Services to entrepreneurship in recognition of the continued support her organisation supplies, free of charge to any start up business with a working mum at the helm.
