Flexible or family friendly jobs?

In a recent Telegraph blog Richard Tyler highlights the rise in flexible working, with just less than half of big companies offering employees the chance to work from home at least one day a week. However he brings up concerns which have long been raised by the child-free that rights to flexible working only belong to parents. This is now worrying the CBI and the Institute of Directors, and I know small businesses have recently raised concerns about extending maternity leave. So, do you think mums and dads should have first choice over flexible work opportunities?
