Men, Women and Unemployment 2009

The Guardian continues to look at whether men or women are more affected by unemployment due to the dredit crunch this year and last. As the increase in unemployment for women is double that for men, Mary Honeyball looks at how women are affected, despite the male face of this recession.

However, if there is an up side for unemployed women, it seems like they cope better with job loss than men.
