Abbe Martin was stunned to find out that she had been crowned with The Helen O’Grady Special Award and the winner of her very own home based business worth £15k in the prestigious Remote Worker Awards Ceremony at the spectacular Cliveden House in Berkshire.
Abbe, who found out about the awards through Family Friendly Working, says, “I am extremely lucky and it is like winning the lottery! This is the start of something big for me and I am so overwhelmed to be a part of the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy. This has all happened so quickly and feels completely beyond me. I never thought I would get this far and I feel so lucky that I have been given this chance and I intend to put every effort into making this work. Feeling as good as I do right now I believe anything is possible.”
Nigel Le Page, Director of the most popular after-school drama programme in the world, is now looking forward to supporting Abbe as she becomes a Helen O’Grady Principal and runs her own exclusive territory in Devon. Her background in the arts and in particular drama, gave her the winning edge for The Helen O’Grady Special Award. Her passions for children and the theatre pushed her to the head of the very strong group of contestants, all of whom could have been successful.
Award winning website, Remote Employment, Google’s No 1 job site for flexible and home based jobs, launched The Remote Worker Awards in association with BT Business to highlight how home working and remote working benefits the British public and their working life.
