Great business books for mumpreneurs are coming out thick and fast right now. Last week I really enjoyed reading and writing about Millionaire Mumpreneurs: this week we have an entirely different sort of book which I would still wholeheartedly recommend for mums in business and any woman looking to start her own enterprise.
The Ultimate Women’s Business Information Directory by Olivia King-Boateng is your short-cut to finding the resources you need to grow and develop your business. King-Boateng has put in hundreds of hours of research so you don’t have to: and for time-pressed business owners this is a welcome saving.
This isn’t a book to sit down and read with a cup of tea: instead keep it on your desk and refer to it every time you need help. You’ll find suggestions for great books to read – I particularly appreciated the references to books from the USA that I was unfamiliar with. There are plenty of websites listed and organisations to find out more about.
If you need funding for your business there is a section dedicated to potential sources of funding, and the book goes on to cover resources should you wish to franchise your business, enter an award, go global or even sell up.
The Ultimate Women’s Business Information Directory sells for £19.99: check out the Excelsya business book club where you can get it for £15.99 at time of writing.
