Lisa Talbot’s Style Tips: Lots of Colour, both brights and pastels

Stylist Lisa Talbot is sharing her tips on turning seasonal trends into wearable outfits. This week it’s all about colour.

Let’s add some colour to the Autumn/Winter months and the brighter the better.

The season is usually full of muted colours so to see brights in our wardrobe and walking down the high street will be fantastic.  You will also see colour in beautiful pastel shades too, these will be great staple garments which can be layered with the right tones.

If you have had colour analysis then wow you can have some fun this season.  All the colours you bring together make sure they are of the same tone.

To bring out the sharpness in your garments mix the fabrics i.e. wool and silk.

If you like colour but want to tone your look down a bit add in one of my favourite items…..a great of jeans.  Jeans are the most versatile item of clothing, they just add jzeush to any outfit.

And if you really don’t want to be ‘coloured’ then just add colour in forms of your accessories i.e.; jewellery, handbags, scarves etc.

The ‘Must haves’

  • Coloured coat
  • Coloured belt
  • Handbag
  • Cape
  • Coloured jeans

This tip is from Lisa Talbot, a Personal and Corporate stylist who specialises in helping mainly women and men with their style and image. She says, “I can help you get a better understanding of the colours and shapes that suit you, then apply that to your personality and lifestyle to help you develop a new wardrobe. One that you’ll love to wear every day. Being a mum of 3 (21 year old son and twins of 6) I can so relate to being a busy working mum and juggling my family. I know how important it is to have a wardrobe that works for you and one that you will find easy and one that you will have fun with.” Find out more about Award Winning Personal Stylist Lisa Talbot at or join Lisa Talbot on Facebook
