December is a very busy month for all of us, Christmas is coming and there is so much to do but also to look forward to … Office parties, Pre Christmas parties, Shopping and our celebration of Christmas Day.
I have a few quick tips to help you look gorgeous at all times in December, I want you to ‘Look good and Feel great’ for the whole of the month.
Taking your day outfit into an evening look is very simple for example; wear a simple black dress during the day with a small scale necklace, to take it into evening add studded leather belt, boots and a leather jacket with a lace scarf.
If you don’t have time to go home before the Office party freshen your make up in the ladies loos.
A mineral based foundation is simple and easy to rebalance your base. An eyeshadow compact with a highlighter and deep colour will allow you to create the ‘smoky eye’ look. Pop some highlighter on the cheekbones, add some natural coloured blusher and a natural coloured lip gloss and you are ready to go. This look replicates the fresh natural look. For a more dramatic look add a stronger coloured lipstick.
If the family are coming round to see you and you have been out late the night before, my recommendation would be to make sure you have some refreshing eye gel in the fridge, dotted under the eye will immediately reduce any puffiness.
Another trick is to have an Light diffusing eye pen in your make up bag, they are miracle workers and cover up any black bags under the eyes.
Christmas Day is a very special day for many difference reasons and we all want to look stylish for family and friends but we also need to be comfortable. I would recommend investing in a great little dress, there are lots in the high street from military dresses to gorgeous soft woollen ones. The majority have no fixed waistbands so are really comfortable. Teamed with a stunning belt and gorgeous piece of jewellery you will look amazing.
Pop a pair of ankle boots with a small heel and you will look fabulous.
