Ikea sent me a Lomsk swivel chair to try out. I was very keen to add it to my office which I’m trying to make nicer this year … sadly, though, it is kiddy sized.
OK, I didn’t seriously think it was for me, and the kids were quite clear about this. K, nearly 2, found it the perfect size and could sit and swivel easily. J and D, 5 and 8, were very enthusiastic about spinning each other … to the extent that Grannie felt they needed seatbelts.
This was a self assembly chair and I managed to put it together despite help from the kids. It comes in more pieces than you might expect, to facilitate the swivel! We’re having ongoing debates about just who’s room this goes in – right now D has the first month then the boys will have the next! Lomsk costs £45 from Ikea.

It comes with three different story scenarios from going on a picnic, to going to the jungle and attending a birthday party. And the beauty of it is you can use it as many times as you like! http://www.facebook.com/maketheworldplaymore
