beauty tips for busy mumsHere are a few beauty secrets to keep you looking and feeling a million pounds!

For reviving your skin and making it look super fresh, wrap an ice cube in a cloth and roll it over your face. This will depuff your skin whilst brightening and freshening your skin.

If you use a cleansing wipe before you wash your face then it would be better to use it after. It will prepare your skin, therefore making your moisturiser work more efficiently.

When you moisturise your hands, how many of us actually put cream on the backs? Well the backs of the hands need the moisture as much as the fronts do. Use the excess from your palms to moisturise the backs.

If you do not have the time to apply fake tan before going out, simply apply bronzer to a fake tan mitt and gently wipe over your legs and arms.this gives a golden glow instantly.

What shape do you have your nails? Well if you find your nails breaking or you are constantly chipping your nail polish then change the shape. Oval nails will not break as easily as square as they have smooth rounded edges.

Do you shake your nail varnish before you apply it? Then don’t as this causes air bubbles in the varnish which when applied burst and leave pin prick marks in the colour. Roll the bottle to mix instead.

To get the full looking brow look, grab an old brown mascara, remove the excess product and comb over your brows. The colour defines your brows whilst the brush combs through and shapes them.

Do you struggle to find the right foundation colour. Well apply a small amount to your chest, just above your top’s neck line. This is much easier to view than on your jaw line. Alternatively, ask if you could take a small sample home in a jar to try at home.

Use your lipstick on your cheeks for colour co-ordinated look. It will give your cheeks a touch of colour and save you time and money.

In a rush, use lip balm on your eye lids instead of eye shadow. When the light catches it will give a beautiful sheen effect.
