UK DSA named best Direct Selling Association in Europe #businessnews

Lynda of the DSAThe UK Direct Selling Association (DSA) has been awarded the highest honour at the European Direct Selling Association Awards, being named European Direct Selling Association of the Year. Beating off 27 other national DSAs, the UK association was recognised for its outstanding work in promoting and supporting direct selling.

The UK DSA won the award at the European Direct Selling Association Annual Conference held on 2October in Brussels. The European Direct Selling Association represents the direct selling industry across the whole of Europe.

Judges commended the UK DSA for showcasing the benefits of direct selling, including an outstanding PR campaign and new social media strategy both of which highlight the opportunities of direct selling to a wider audience.

The UK DSA team, led by new Director General Lynda Mills, was praised for broadcasting positive messages about direct selling and showcasing the industry to new sectors including under 25s, men and over 50s. The association’s work to support member companies with initiatives such as the DSA annual conference, awards, seminars,advice and education were also highlighted.

 Lynda Mills, Director of the Direct Selling Association says: “The UK DSA team are truly passionate about direct selling and we are thrilled to have been named European Direct Selling Association of the Year. Direct selling is booming in the UK with over 400,000 people involved in the industry and we are committed to helping both these individual direct sellers, and our 60 member companies to thrive.”
