New TV, Old TV?

I love the feeling of a new term. Right now there’s the scent of autumn in the air, lovely sunflowers and fresh corn on the cob, and of course the children are back at school which gives me a little more time. The other good thing about a new term, whether it is September or January, is the start of new series of my TV favourites.  As well as spending time working, I look forward to relaxing with the return of long running favourite TV shows: for me that’s things like Elementary and NCIS. I’m always excited by new episodes of Sherlock, but mostly I like TV shows from the US. I like crime shows, but also things with a medical twist like Bones.

Alongside old favourites there’s always the chance of stumbling across something new: I loved meeting Tom Hiddleston in Le Carré’s Night Manager last season. This Autumn I’ve been enjoying Rosewood (check it out on Alibi in the UK) – it’s got just the right mix of medical and detective story for me, despite poor reviews! I’m also looking forward to Sarah Jessica Parkers new series, Divorce – and I’d love to be watching it on a shiny new Panasonic 4K TV. Nowadays I love binging on a box set too – it’s great that even if you miss the start of a new series you can easily catch up at a time that suits you.

What TV shows do you look forward to each season – do you have old favourites or is there a new show that has piqued your interest?

This post is in association with Panasonic.
