Mumpreneur profile: Rebecca of the Female Entrepreneurs Network

2 January 2019 No Comment

Hey I am Rebecca Lockwood a Master NLP Mindset Coach and the founder of The Female Entrepreneurs Network. I’m 28 years old and have been in business and sales since the age of 18.

Tell us about your family

I have 2 little girls born in 2015 and 2018 and I married my prince charming in 2016! My family have been a huge why for me starting my business and keep me going in the right direction.

What did you do before coming up with your business idea and how was it making the transition?

My previous business was called Recoco Woman and had huge growth plans. I was on the biggest growth accelerator in the world and won various business awards. The business was all about empowering women to be confident. Before that and alongside I worked in sales, training, managing and coaching sales teams. My experience of this led me to where I am now doing mindset coaching and supporting women to be the best version of themselves.

When did you launch?

I officially began coaching in November 2016.

How did you get started?

After I trained as an NLP Coach I wanted to work with as many people as possible on as many different things as possible to get clear on what I enjoyed doing and what was the most impactful for me. It lead me to realise that so many other women had limiting beliefs holding them back like I am not good enough or I am not worthy. Through learning this I decided to focus on this area as my expertise and it all stemmed from there.

What’s your favourite thing about running your own business

I love that it is my choice how much of an impact I have and how I support my clients.

What’s the thing you least enjoy about running your own business

Admin, thankfully I have a great team who support me!

What has worked well about your business?

We have a reach of about 20 thousand women online now, this is so exciting for me because I know that my message is reaching the women who need to hear it. You can achieve anything you dream of, and you can make a choice to show up as the very best version of yourself every single day.

How do you fit in work with the family? Is your partner supportive of your business?

My family are so supportive of my work and I really couldn’t do what I do without them. My husband backs me whatever I decide even though in the beginning he thought I was crazy with all these crazy ideas. He now sees that he too can dream as big as his heart allows and we can achieve anything we dream.

Are you working towards a financial goal for your business?

I have always had this spark of an idea of hitting the 7-figure mark in my business when I hit 30.

Would you ever give up your business to do something else?

I would never give up Mindset Coaching to do something else. The work I do is so rewarding because I see the results I get for my client’s first hand. I see the achievements they have and I see the limitations they have previously set for themselves fizzle and disappear as they go on to bigger heights and more exciting dreams.

Have you had your ‘I’ve made it’ moment?  Tell us about it.  If not when do you think it will come

Yes, When I first began coaching and supporting women to step into their power I realised that I would never ever do anything else. Success for me is serving from my highest power, and that is supporting women to see their potential and step into it, I do this every day.
