Mumpreneur profile: Steffi of Steffi Addison Coaching

Hi, my name is Steffi Addison and I’m 26 years old.

My family consists of my partner Tom, our 11 month old daughter Millie, and my dog Poppy (she’s my other baby!)

I have a bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Nursing and I’m a registered Mental Health nurse. I always knew I wanted to something more, but I could never quite put my finger on it, being an Entrepreneur was not really on my radar for most of my life. Following the birth of my daughter, I threw myself into the world of personal development and all that brings, I was ready to ditch my low self esteem, my negative thoughts and after gaining 4 stone during my pregnancy these had been heightened even more. I knew that I had to change, it wasn’t just for me anymore, but for my daughter and my family. What would my daughter learn from those behaviours?

So when my daughter was just a few months old I decided to launch my business as a Life Coach and Mindset Mentor for millennial mums,  bringing together my experience in life, along with my 5 years experience as a mental health nurse to help mums who were feeling like I was, to help them feel better in their bodies, in their relationships and to feel like themselves again.

I later decided to add another layer to my coaching, which is how I am now a Business Success Coach for service based Mumpreneurs! One of the things I have always  been passionate about is helping Mums create Freedom, Success and Happiness, And becoming an Entrepreneur gives you this!!

I have to say my favourite thing since starting in business is the women I get to meet and speak to every single day, from all over the world. Having an online business really allows you to create so many great connections and help support so many people.

Although I manage my time well, things crop up. I’ve built my business so far during Millie’s nap times, and as Millie gets older as those nap times get less, it has been a challenge to adapt each and every time. But that is what I do, I adapt, I find a new way of working and getting things done and I’ll work just a few evenings a week now too. Luckily my partner is fully supportive of me, my business and where my business is heading, which is why I only work a few evenings a week, to ensure we still get ‘us time’.

In November I also became a best-selling author too, I co-authored the book ‘You Are Meant For More’ with 9 other female entrepreneurs and this was a massive moment for me. We hit best seller on Amazon in just a few hours and  in 4 amazing categories. The categories contain books written by Sir Richard Branson, Baroness Karren Brady, Sir Alan Sugar, Carrie Green and Jo Malone- so it’s been pretty amazing and all the profits from the book are donated to the United Nations One Bracelet Campaign to help end violence against women.

I work with mums in service-based businesses globally, helping them get more clients and more money, so that they leave their 9-5s, have the freedom to be present with their babies and live their dream lives through my 3 month 1:1 Undeniable Success Coaching program.
