How to make Cauliflower Buffalo Wings & Ranch Dip

Looking for a different snack or inspiring side dish? Why not try this recipe for cauliflower buffalow wings with range dip from Stem and Glory?


  • 1 large head cauliflower
  • 1 cup milk alternative (I like using oat milk)
  • ¼  cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour (Gluten free flour works too)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika powder
  • ½ tablespoon chilli powder
  • ½ tablespoon cumin powder
  • ½ tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Hot sauce / BBQ sauce to glaze


  1. Pre heat a frying pan with oil at 180c or No.7 on electric stove / induction
  2. Cut cauliflower into bite sized pieces.( Florets)
  3. In a large bowl, add oats milk, apple cider vinegar, flour, garlic powder, Smoked paprika, ground cumin, chilli powder, black pepper and salt. Whisk until well combined.
  4. Add the cauliflower to the batter in the bowl, and toss to combine. Remove the pieces of cauliflower, one by one, and tap off the excess batter a few times on the side of the bowl. Place on a try getting ready to be fried (shallow Fry)
  5. Fry for 2/3 minutes. Flip them over and fry for 2 more minutes, until golden brown, take out and place on couple kitchen roll to take access oil out.
  6. Brush the Bbq sauce/ hot sauce on each cauliflower wing, or toss the florets with the sauce in a large bowl, then put to the serving plate.

Ranch dip

  • ½ cup vegan mayo/coconut yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped dill
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)


Place the vegan mayo /coconut yoghurt in a bowl, mix in with the whisk (garlic powder, black pepper, sea salt) then add the chopped parsley and chopped dill, if your using coconut yoghurt add 2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
